# Kickstart your store

**Free & invite-based.** You don't create the brand shell. **Koolodoor** creates your **Group** + **Store(s)** and invites you. **Partner Tools → Invitations** → **ACCEPT**, then **Partner Tools → Management**. Group managers can do everything store partners can.

## What you do vs what Koolodoor does

Managers never create the Group or Store themselves. Access is free — no join fee; soft-launch restaurants pay **0% food commission**.

- **Koolodoor** creates your **Group** and one or more **Stores**, then sends **Invite Group Manager** (or a manager invites **Invite Business Partner**).
- **You:** open **Partner Tools → Invitations** → **ACCEPT** (signs you out — sign back in) → you're in.
- Then **Partner Tools → Management** → **Manage Group**: UMS, **People**, **Sync Items** (per store), **Live**. Managers can run every store like a partner.

> **Heads up:** No Group / Store yet? Contact Koolodoor — we set that up. First taps: **Partner Tools → Invitations** → **ACCEPT**.

## Mental model

- You do **not** create items directly on the store.
- Everything is built in the **Group** (Unified Menu System / UMS).
- Then you **Sync Items** to the store(s) when you're ready.

## Phase A — Accept your manager invite

1. **Koolodoor** already created your **Group** + **Store(s)** and invited you.
2. ☰ **Partner Tools → Invitations** → **ACCEPT** on **Invite Group Manager**.
3. Sign out and sign back in if the app asks — then **Partner Tools → Management** → **Manage Group**.

## Phase B0 — Working Country (before prices)

1. **Manage Group** → tab **Settings** → **Working Country**.
2. Pick the country whose prices/currency you want to configure next.
3. One **Variant Config** can hold **multiple region prices** (one per country) — switch Working Country when pricing another market.

> **Heads up:** Working Country = local context for catalog prices & modifiers while you edit.

## Phase B — Create ItemConfig

1. ☰ **Partner Tools** → **Management** → **Manage Group**.
2. Tab **Item Configs** → **+** → **Create ItemConfig** → name / details → **Save**.

## Phase B — Create Variant (+ price)

1. Tap the Item Config you just created → **+** → **Create Variant**.
2. Add photo, name, **price for the Working Country** → **Save**.
3. Optionally add more country prices on the same Variant Config later (still one sellable variant, many region prices).

## Phase B — Modifiers & Options (optional)

1. Tab **Modifiers** → create a modifier group (min/max picks).
2. Tab **Options** → **+** → **Create Option** → name + price → **Save**.
3. Open the Item/Variant → **Edit Modifiers** → attach the modifier.

## Phase B — Menu Sections

1. Tab **Menu Sections** — create headings (Burgers, Drinks, …) and arrange order → **Save Order**.
2. Attach variants to sections so the store menu has structure after sync.

## Phase C — Sync Items to the store (golden rule)

1. Switch to the store: **Manage Store** (or via **Stores** tab).
2. Go to **Sync Items**.
3. Choose **Sync Group Menu** (full menu), **Sync Selected**, or **Refresh Existing**.
4. Tap **Confirm & Start Sync**.

> **Heads up:** **Country filter:** Sync Items for a store in country X only lists Variant Configs that have a price for X. **No price declared for country X ⇒ that Variant Config is invisible in Sync Items for all stores in X.**

## Phase C — Availability

1. On the store → **Availability** tab → set opening hours.
2. Items default to **Follow Store Hours**.

## Phase D — Build your team

- **Manage Group → People** → **Invite Group Manager** or **Invite Business Partner** (free, invite-based).
- See **people-roles** for who can invite whom.

## Limits

- Max **20** modifiers per dish · max **20** options per modifier · max **99** dishes per section.
