# Android & Samsung tips

Riders: set battery to **Unrestricted** or offers die in the background.

## Battery (required on duty)

This is the #1 Android miss for riders.

- Open phone **Settings → Apps → Koolodoor → Battery** (wording varies by brand).
- Set battery usage to **Unrestricted** (not Optimized / Restricted).
- Samsung: also check **Device care → Battery → Background usage limits** — remove Koolodoor from sleeping / deep-sleeping apps.

> **Heads up:** If battery is Optimized, **Fleet duty** location and offer pings can stop when the screen is off.

## Location & notifications

- Allow **Always** (precise) location while on **Fleet duty**.
- Keep notifications enabled for Koolodoor.
- Leave **Fleet duty** when you're done — tracking stops.
