Terms and Conditions

Last updated: August 1, 2026. By using Koolodoor—including browsing, in-app ordering with cash on delivery, restaurant tools, and fleet duty—you agree to these terms.

In-app ordering & COD Guests and signed-in users Fair usage rules

1) Acceptance of Terms

By using Koolodoor services—with or without creating an account—you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2) Eligibility and Accounts

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use Koolodoor
  • Some features may be available without an account (for example browsing); ordering, restaurant tools, and fleet duty require a valid account
  • You must provide accurate information
  • You are responsible for account security
  • You may not impersonate other users or entities
  • Customers must verify a phone number before placing an order through the app (restaurant point-of-sale orders placed by staff may follow different rules)

3) Acceptable Use

  • No illegal, abusive, fraudulent, or harmful activity
  • No attempts to disrupt the platform or bypass safeguards
  • No unauthorized scraping or extraction of protected data
  • No misuse of fleet duty, location, or order systems (for example spoofing location or interfering with dispatch)

4) In-App Ordering and Cash on Delivery

Koolodoor supports in-app ordering for pickup and delivery. In this release, customer checkout uses cash on delivery (COD) only. There is no card payment or in-app purchase processor in the app at this time.

By placing an order, you authorize us and the participating restaurant to prepare and fulfill the order according to the details you submit (items, address, contact phone, and payment method). You agree to pay the stated total in cash to the rider or restaurant as indicated at checkout.

5) Restaurant and Rider Responsibilities

  • Restaurants are responsible for menu accuracy, order preparation, applicable food-safety practices, and timely handoff for pickup or delivery
  • Riders on fleet duty are responsible for safe, lawful delivery and accurate completion of assigned orders
  • Restaurant staff and riders must comply with applicable local laws and platform policies, including location and notification permissions required for their role
  • Koolodoor provides software to connect customers, restaurants, and riders; restaurants and riders remain responsible for the goods and services they provide

6) Delivery, Pricing, and Service Limits

Delivery availability, fees, distance limits, and estimated times are shown in the app before you confirm an order. Delivery addresses must include valid map coordinates. Maximum delivery distance and pricing rules may vary by region and may change as we expand service.

Current soft-launch pricing in Morocco (where applicable) may include a base delivery fee, per-kilometer charges rounded to whole dirhams, a service fee, and disclosed commission or rider-share rules. We may adjust pricing, fees, or service areas at our discretion with reasonable notice where required.

7) Demo and Practice Orders

Signed-in users may see restaurants marked as Demo for practice ordering. Demo orders run through the full in-app flow for training and review purposes but are not settled as real money transactions. Earnings, wallets, and remittance views exclude or clearly distinguish Demo activity.

8) User Content

You retain rights to your content. By uploading content, you grant Koolodoor a limited license to host, process, and display that content to operate the service.

9) Service Availability

We aim for reliable uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change, pause, or be discontinued as we improve the platform. Fleet duty on iOS requires a supported OS version (iOS 17 or later) for reliable background location while on shift.

10) Third-Party Services

Koolodoor may integrate third-party services (for example maps from Google, hosting, push delivery, and support tools). Their own terms and policies may apply when you use those features.

11) Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations, abuse, legal requirements, or security risk. You may stop using the service at any time and may delete your account from Settings subject to our Privacy Policy.

12) Disclaimer and Liability

Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Koolodoor disclaims implied warranties and limits liability for indirect or consequential damages. Koolodoor is not liable for food quality, preparation, or conduct of independent restaurants or riders beyond what applicable law requires.

13) Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app or through official channels. The date at the top indicates the latest revision. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
